Whether you want to try your hand at powerboating or jet-skiing while you’re on holiday, or you’ve invested in your own, our courses will provide with all the skills required to safely handle these machines.
Powerboat and personal watercraft
More commonly known as jet skis, personal watercraft can be single-seater, or can take two or three people.
If you’re planning on investing in your own jet ski or you’re hiring one to experience the thrill of the water, it’s important to keep in mind that they are subject to limitations.
In many areas, an RYA PWC Licence is needed if you want to use your jet ski.
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course teaches you safe driving and handling skills for short day trips in a powerboat and enables you to become a competent powerboat driver.
If you want your powerboat to be able to act as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, for racing or training activities, our Safety Boat training will give you the skills you need.
Or, if you’re interested in jet-skiing, our Personal Watercraft course will help you master the skills you need to operate safely and confidently at sea.
