Are you a Commercially endorsed Yachtmaster looking to enter the world of yachting instructor.

We’re searching for individuals to join UKSA in Cowes, on the scenic Isle of Wight. Your mission?

Guide learners on our RYA Yachtmaster training programs ensuring safety while learning, building your experience and developing your skill set.

This role is specifically aimed to develop your Yachtmaster and instructor skills and progress your career towards Yachtmaster Instructor.

In this role, you will get:

  • To work alongside experienced instructors onboard our Farr 65 in the role of mate.
  • Instructing on our Cruising Yachts.
  • 1-1 Mentoring with our senior instructors.
  • Shore based instructor training.

Are you an experienced RYA Dinghy or Windsurf Senior Instructor with a passion for Watersports and leadership? This is your opportunity to take your skills to the next level and help lead a dedicated team of instructors this summer at UKSA.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, inspire, and guide a team of instructors in delivering high-quality Dinghy, Windsurf, Keel Boat, and Multihull and other activity sessions.

Work Experience

Working in the watersports industry is an enjoyable and rewarding career. It builds up lots of transferable skills such as teamwork, resilience and problem-solving. A career in Watersports creates many opportunities and different pathways as well as allowing you travel globally and earn as you go.

Here at UKSA we offer the opportunity for you to gain some insight and experience as to how a busy and vibrant watersports centre runs, working alongside our RYA Trained instructors who are delivering safe and high-quality tuition to our students. You can get involved whether it be dinghy sailing on the Solent, kayaking the river Medina or scrubbing the changing rooms we do it all.
